ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

The Cursillo weekend begins on a Thursday evening and continues until approximately 6:00 PM on a Sunday.  Individuals applying for Cursillo will commit themselves for the entire weekend, including the closing service at All Saints’ Chapel, Camp Allen, on Sunday afternoon. 

 

Please complete the form and mail with the entire fee of $210.00.  Spouses applying to attend the same weekend may send one check for both, but each application must be filled out completely.  Applications with the entire fee must be received by the deadline for the weekend, July 22.  Make checks payable to Cursillo and dated AUGUST 7.  Mail with the application to the address below.  Your check(s) will be held until the date of the weekend that you attend.  You are responsible for any returned check charges.

 

COMPLETE APPLICATIONS WITH FEE ARE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.  FOR THIS REASON FAXED APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

 

PRIESTS AND SPONSORS:  Cursillo is intended to be used as a developmental tool for potential parish leaders and not a retreat.  Participants must be

§         a communicant at least 18 years of age in good standing of an Episcopal congregation in the Diocese of Texas and at peace with the church

§         spiritually/psychologically stable and not suffering from any known unusually stressful situations in their lives which would unduly interfere with the ability to profit from the experience or which would disrupt the orderly functioning of the weekend

 

Only FOUR persons per parish may attend the same weekend unless vacancies occur.  In this case a maximum of SIX persons will be accepted from any one parish.  Applicants placed on a waiting list for a full Cursillo must reapply to attend another weekend.

 

Applicants finding they cannot attend the weekend after being accepted should call the Registrar IMMEDIATELY.  Deposits/fees will be refunded as follows:

§         Canceled before the deadline                             100% refund

§         Canceled after the deadline/slot filled                        100% refund

§         Canceled after the deadline/slot not filled       50% refund

§         Extenuating circumstances after deadline     100% refund

§         No shows                                                      Determined on individual basis
